Sonenshine Partners Advises Alcoa on its Sale of Alcoa Shanghai Aluminum Products to Yunnan Metallurgical Group

New York, NY - Sonenshine Partners LLC today announced that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to Alcoa Inc. (NYSE: AA), the world’s leading producer of primary aluminum, fabricated aluminum and alumina, on the sale of Alcoa (Shanghai) Aluminum Products Co., Ltd. to Yunnan Metallurgical Group, one of the largest non-ferrous metals and mining companies in China.  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 
Alcoa (Shanghai) Aluminum Products Co., Ltd. produces premium aluminum foil for the food and pharmaceutical packaging, building and construction decoration, electronics, home appliance and automobile industries.  It counts among its customers many of the leading consumer products and industrial companies in China.
