Temitayo Ogunnaike is an Associate at Sonenshine Partners. Prior to joining Sonenshine Partners, Mr. Ogunnaike was an investment banking professional in the global media, technology and telecommunications group of The Goldman Sachs Group, where he focused on the execution of mergers and acquisitions and corporate financings. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Ogunnaike was an engineer and project manager for TV Guide On Screen, the consumer electronics division of TV Guide, where he managed TV Guide’s joint technology development relationships with leading consumer electronics manufacturers worldwide.
In recent years, Mr. Ogunnaike has advised on the formation and financing of the NBA China, L.P, an entity established to conduct all of the league’s business in Greater China; the follow-on public offering for Nuance Communications, a leading provider of speech-based solutions for businesses and consumers worldwide; and the sale of MediMedia, a nationwide leader in healthcare communications, publishing and medical education, to Vestar Capital Partners. Mr. Ogunnaike has also worked with a wide range of digital and mobile media and technology companies.
Mr. Ogunnaike holds a BS in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Joseph Wharton Scholar. Mr. Ogunnaike is a native of Northern Virginia and is actively involved in alumni volunteer activities for the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. He is also a member of the Next Generation Network, an affiliate organization to the Executive Leadership Council, a premier organization of Fortune 500 CEOs of African American descent.
