François Huré is an Associate at Sonenshine Partners. While at Sonenshine Partners, Mr. Huré has worked on corporate advisory assignments for both large cap and middle market Clients in the telecommunications and technology, manufacturing and industrials, specialty finance and consumer and retail sectors.
Representative advisory transactions include the recently announced $430 million sale of drugstore.com to Walgreens, the $250 million investment by Italian espresso coffee maker Lavazza into US single-serve coffee leader Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, the $1.8 billion merger transaction between aircraft lessors AerCap and Genesis Lease, the strategic alliance between Luxottica Retail North America and drugstore.com’s Vision Direct subsidiary, the acquisition of ophthalmic lens manufacturer Signet Armorlite by Essilor, the $343 million sale of online contact lens retailer 1-800 CONTACTS to Fenway Partners, the sale of contact lens manufacturer ClearLab to Menicon of Japan and Migwang Contact Lens Co. of Korea, the merger of Ethernet router manufacturer Atrica into Nokia Siemens Networks, the $527 million sale of automotive parts cataloguing business ProQuest Business Solutions to Snap-On and the $222 million sale of electronic information referencing business ProQuest Information & Learning to Cambridge Information Group.
Mr. Huré is an Executive Member of the French American Chamber of Commerce and is a native of France. He holds a dual Bachelor of Sciences degree with Honors in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
