Robert Cooper is a Vice President at Sonenshine Partners. While at Sonenshine Partners, Mr. Cooper has worked on advisory assignments for both large cap and middle market companies in the retail and e-commerce, media and telecommunications, consumer health care, manufacturing and specialty finance sectors.
Recent completed transactions include the sale of Salu Inc., a leading online retailer of clinical skin care and beauty products, to drugstore.com; divestitures by Alcoa Inc. of its Chinese and Spanish foil manufacturing businesses, which produce aluminum foil for consumer packaging and other applications; divestitures by ProQuest Inc., including its $222 million sale of electronic information services division ProQuest Information & Learning to Cambridge Information Group; the sale of Metro Ethernet specialist Atrica, Inc. to Nokia Siemens Networks; the $207 million sale of networking equipment manufacturer Riverstone Networks to Lucent Technologies; and the merger of disease and care management provider CareGuide into Patient Infosystems, Inc.
Mr. Cooper previously worked in business development at TRKC, Inc., an online media organization based in Washington DC. Mr. Cooper holds a BS in Economics with a Dual Concentration in Finance and Management and a Minor in Political Science from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
